It searches the corpus

AuthIslam looks through one vetted collection: the Qur'an and the authentic hadith of Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim. Nothing outside it.

It answers, or defers

You get the matching verses and narrations quoted word for word with references, or a plain "I don't have a sourced answer for that."

Most "Islamic AI" tools will confidently generate an answer to anything. AuthIslam's whole design is the opposite: it would rather say nothing than say something it can't source.

It never invents sources

Every reference is checked against the text that was actually retrieved. Anything the model makes up is stripped out before it reaches your screen.

It never gives a fatwa

On a question of ruling it lays out the evidence and leaves the verdict to a qualified scholar. It will not invent a ruling in its own voice.

Scripture is shown, not paraphrased

Verses and narrations appear word for word from the source, in Arabic with translation, so you can read and check every word yourself.

It admits what it doesn't know

If the sources don't cover your question, it says so, instead of filling the silence with a confident guess.

No mystery about it. Here is exactly what sits behind every reply.

  • Only two sources. Every answer is drawn from the Qur'an and the authentic hadith of Sahih al-Bukhari and Muslim. Nothing from anywhere else.
  • Always with references. Each verse and narration arrives with its citation, so you can open the source and read it in full yourself.
  • Verbatim scripture. The Arabic and its translation are shown exactly as they appear in the source, never reworded.
  • Sources only, if you want it. Turn on Sources only and every reply is nothing but the cited verses and hadith, with no AI writing at all.
  • It never rules for you. On questions of judgement it presents the evidence and leaves the verdict to a qualified scholar. No fatwa comes from the tool itself.
  • A scope that grows carefully. It starts with the Qur'an and the two Sahih collections, and widens only when new material has been properly checked.
